Africano Cultural Celebration & Community Free Day

Learn about Africano culture of our region as vendors sell African-influenced clothing, art, textiles and soul food from Noon to 5:00 PM, with a special performance at 1:00 PM of Africano art & music.

-free admission for Monterey County residents-

Salinas Stories: Cultivating Knowledge, Life & Literature in Salinas is a two-year collaboration of the Salinas Public Library and the National Steinbeck Center. This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. The Institute of Museum and Library services is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s 122,500 libraries and 17,500 museums.
